Onionhead® was developed by a mother-daughter team 15 years ago.
The mother, a counselor herself, conceived the idea and the daughter, being an artist and writer, birthed the character and the stories.
They used some of their challenging life experiences and their loving relationship in the “face” of these difficulties as a basis for this character. Onionhead® was and is a way for them to share their good fortune of having each other.
At Onionhead® and Company, we want all children to know that they have someone... and indeed, never feel alone.
