Onionhead® peels feelings

peeling feelings…teaching us what to do with what we feel

New York, NY. (September 17, 2009) – Do you ever feel like children aren’t prepared for the world we live in today? Even if they have been provided the important basic reading, writing and math skills, there is still something big missing. Without being equipped to understand and choose what children can do with what they feel, they will continually be desensitized, remote or fall prey to the emotional emergency in our country.  Onionhead® teaches children and teens (well, adults too) about emotions and feelings through a new animated character who has just arrived in the main stream.

Onionhead® was originally developed by a mother-daughter team 16 years ago. The mother, a counselor herself, conceived the idea for adults. Her 2 year old grandson, considered a spectrum child, demanded that Onionhead® be done for children. So the daughter, an artist and writer, birthed the character.  That animated character has grown into a full new product line and catalogue that provide a deeply meaningful gift alternative for the holidays – for life.  Onionhead®’s product line now includes collectibles, toys, clothes, games and new books.

We promise that whatever we put in the hands of your child, we would trust completely in the hands of our own.  For additional information contact Lane Michel, (530) 926-9999, lane@onionhead.com.
